Derive Editorial Design

My current university brief involves making my own typology, and producing a six page editorial spread using that and information supplied to us on the subject of the dérive theory.

It has been an interesting project; not something I have ever considered doing as a career until now. It has been fun doing it, I have to admit.

This was one of my practice spreads done in InDesign, based on an early layout idea. The final idea is now much different, with a new concept, colour scheme, typography, and much more. However, this was still a useful spread, as it introduced me to both InDesign and the world of editorial design.

I'm very happy with this.
