Description

A few days ago, my fiance asked me to draw how I was feeling. I've been having some problems at the moment, what with university and the possibility that I might be bipolar, and I've been really struggling, slash all over the place. So I did what he asked, and this was the result. It may not be the most cheerful piece, but in all fairness, it made me feel a lot better, in all honesty. I think it was something to do with just having an outlet.

I have issues with control, and right now, I feel like I have no control over my life, so I showed this to my therapist, and she kiiiind of looked at me like I was insane, but then she said I had a gift for putting down emotions onto paper.

That has made me realise what I would like to aspire to do when I'm older slash out of university; I'd like to go into art therapy. I've realised that I really want to help people, to help them not feel like I do. I don't know, maybe something will come of it, but maybe not. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.

Very interesting piece!

Your style is not something that can be easily classified, and that's a fantastic thing!
It's original, and it really fits with your concept! I also really like how it's not completely colored, but I would personally color perhaps one part of your person, like the hair, or even the eyes.

Something that I really notice is the woman's expression. The first word that came to mind was 'desolate'. She looks so very sad and so very lonely, but her body language suggests that she's almost...afraid. Afraid of letting someone see what she really feels.
Or maybe I've been reading too many books.

On to the more technical aspect, I do think her face is a touch thin, but that could be what you were going for.

All in all, this was a really touching piece, with a deep concept, and a million ways to perceive it. Fantastic work!
